I got a fix it ticket for my exhaust, luckily they didn't give me a hard time for recon or anything. They said I have until Thursday the 15th to fix it or else I'll get tagged for disturbing the peace? I have to go to some inspection place and get it signed off apparently. Also my reg is expired hah, damn. He said he'll let me slide if I can pass my fix it.

Hey my friend needs some help, he's swapping his ap1 with another ap1 motor and trans and he's wondering what's the easiest way to get the trans on the motor, before they put the motor mounts or after.

 

per Billman250, I pull the trans first, then pull the engine from the top. Pull it with all hoses and wiring harness attached and its easy. Fish the harness up and out of the car with the engine. When installing, fish the harness back through as you lower the engine. It is too stiff and cannot be fished in or out with the engine in place.

 

As far as the transmission goes, whats the best method for putting it back on.
