I bet we could open the hood if we really wanted to!

But seriously, something has gone bonkers under my hood recently and I'm certain that it is either my MAP sensor or TPS sensor. Tony Honda wants to charge me an arm and both legs for these cheap little parts. I'll try to keep in touch so I know when the car becomes available for "scavenging"
the gofastlab has the map for like $50. how much did the dealer want for it?

there is a service bulletin about the map where it needs to be zip tied down so that the vibration doesnt do things to it, symptoms are hesitation while accelerating

I had that TSB in my hand when I was talking to Tony Honda, they looked at me with a blank stare like they had never seen a TSB before, it was amazing. I've tried adjusting the MAP sensor, whacking it, giving it a beat down, using zip ties, and talking nice to it. It's being good for now, but I'd like to have a spare on hand.

i had that happen with cutter on maui when they had nissan.

i was in my ford uniform and everything. they claimed the pinging was coming from my using a non-oem oil filter.

there is a TSB for early run 00 maxima 5 speeds for ign coil replacement due to severe detonaton.
