Default Rough/Click feel...

My car's clutch pedal feels rough and for the past two days I'll feel a click when shifting from 4 to 5 or 5 to 6 -- just once. The click feeling happens as I accelerate onto H2 from the Mililani freeway ramp at almost the exact same moment in the past two days.

After the car warms up, it's smooth as butter. I know there's a write up to fix the roughness, but I haven't read anyone with the click feeling that happens once. Clutch feels fine.

Any ideas?

Mine is definitely sticky and I believe its the shaft that goes through the firewall that needs lubing. Not sure about clicks though....

betty's clutch pedal felt sticky, rough and slow. i dropped the clutch slave and polished the shaft that actuated the clutch fork. it was super smooth after that.

If I was keeping my car, I'd ask you to polish my shaft.....

So in other words: "If it don't fit, then spit?"

Sorry for going off topic. Back on the subject. Not sure what might be causing the clicking. I don't recall having that happen to me. Have you tried changing out the fluids?

my mom's Civic was doing the click several years ago.. it also got harder than normal to press in fo shifts.. turned out to be that some of the little "fingers" on the pressure plate got bent.
