Great showing (12 S2ks!) at the Curtis Lee Memorial Autocross yesterday. 'Rolling shots' to come. Congrats to all you guys who come out and use your car for its intended purpose. Special congrats to Diana, Justin, and Ryan Imaoka for exceptional finishes.

^ i hate it when that happens. i finish my run thinking "wow, that was so smooth! ... wait wtf my time was so slow!"
that offset slalom was so hard for me to wrap my head around. i'm just proud of myself for remembering to turn off the VSC for all 4 runs lol

Can't believe I forgot to turn off the VSC again during my 3rd run. Made me a second slower
There was a lot of s2000 this race. more than i have ever seen.

I still have a LOT of learning to do though. I know the car is capable of much better times, even in stock form. Diana and the other Ryan are running 6-7 seconds faster and I know that suspension and tires won't even probably make me 2 seconds faster. This car is SO fun to drive though!

Woohoo! Remembered to turn off VSC all 4 runs! On a side note, I decided to not be lazy and take out my sub/box out of my trunk and it made a noticeable difference in the car's willingness to turn in and rotate. I didn't adjust anything else from the last event so I knew the handling difference was that extra weight in the rear.
I was shifting into second while taking the left handed right after the start. Did anybody try to stay in first gear any longer? I left it in first gear through the slalom on my first run but found the car to be too jerky when trying to modulate the throttle.

i got my time down to 32.9x during fun runs. that run felt so good! that was such a great course.

Nine S2000 racers at the last event.
Diana was defeated by Ryan Imoaka's brother, Randall, in his STI. She would have had the win it if she didn't hit a cone on two of her runs.
Ryan Imaoka had FTD for a moment but was taken down by a 240Z that luckily got a couple of reruns which gave him the win.
Justin Campbell was back in his yellow S shod with sticky new Dunlop Star Specs and, based on his times, you'd swear he was on r comps.
Next race is on 12/12.
