I would spray some belt conditioner to see if temporarily resolves the squealing. Then replace the belts, if it does. I changed mine and it definitely quieted the car down after I bought it. But mine would squeal only when it was cold. I don't normally use belt conditioner -- my experience is that it makes it worst after few days. YMMV.

a quick way to see if it is in fact the belt, is to try and spray silicone spray on the belt itself, and monitor if the noise dissipates/goes away completely. from what you're saying, there's a good chance it could be the belt, but nothings for sure. how much mileage is currently on the vehicle?
