It has finally happened. I purchased an S2000. Years after having a B18 EG hatch in college, and a couple Miatas later I own a AP2 S2000. I'm still getting accustomed to the car. Things get into the arrest me level very fast compared to my Miatas. It doesn't seem to stop as well though. I can feel that extra weight. Then again I think it still has the original brake fluid. I autocrossed my Miata for many years and enjoyed the Mazdaspeed support. Does anyone here have any experience with HPD Racing Line? The requirements seem similar with only two events necessary to join. I've been on the lookout for a second set of wheels to mount race rubber on, though it looks like I'll end up with some TR Motorsports. Volks etc are too pretty for the Maui track. Hope to learn a bunch and get trouble shooting out of the way with the help of this board.

congrats on the s purchase. welcome to the boards. most of us are on oahu though.
wouldn't say fat miata but definitely better lines than the miata

Hmm...I think this is the S my friend wanted to pick up. We were going to make a weekend trip to Maui but someone bought it before we could go. I think it was you who prevented my weekend to Maui

The lines on the car certainly make it look much more serious and purposeful.

I really believe that Maui has great driving roads. I have already gone to the crater, next will have to be an early run to Hana.
