go tirerack.com . they are a better deal, fast and direct shipping. even people that work for tire shops tell you to go through them. shipping is not as expensive as you think.

I just ordered a set of rears from Costco. When I priced tirerack I think it was about $185 per tire shipping included. Costco should be $175 per tire including mount and balance. Not sure if there is a difference between oem S02 tires and S02 tires from Costco. If you haven't already purchased yours by the time I get mine, I will let you know how it went at Costco.

Should be coming in either next week or the following week. I'll let you know how it goes.

There is a huge difference between the OE S-02 and the "normal" S-02. However since the 'normal" tire is not supposed to be sold anymore, you might get lucky and get the correct tire.

The OE tire has narrow grooves and a wider contact patch creating A LOT more grip than the other S-02. The non-OE tire creates a dangerous handling condition because the front to rear ratio is screwed up.

I usually take mine to Eurosport or Hypersport. The stiff sidewall of the S-02s are hard to mount but they have the best machines and are less likely to scratch the rims

shucks i was hoping there was someplace cheaper than eurosport. 20 bux a tire seems pretty expensive to me, but if they got the best machine to do it i guess i have no choice...

I can get it done for free here a Acura, but I still pay to have it done elsewhere cause I don't want the rims scratched! Maybe someone else will chip in on a good place that has the right machines to get it done. What about Revolution?
