Colin, are there any markings on the tire that would tell me if it is OEM or "normal"?

The tire sizes are below, the bold type should be on the sidewall denoting the correct OE tire.

Front tyre 205/55-16 89W
Rear tyre 225/50-16 92W

I just got the tires installed today. They are the 92W tires so that should be ok. Thanks Colin for the info.

However not all is well. They did scratch the rims in a couple of places. Not very noticable but I can see it when I wash the rims.

wow so you got OE SO2s from costco mounted and balanced for $175 a tire? which costco was this and how long did you have to wait once u placed your order? that really sucks about the rim scratches though. i woulda thrown a fit.

After tax and everything it actually came out to $190 a tire after tax and everything. The guy who initially gave me the quote was wrong and I did not get it in writing. Evidently it was about $175 without mounting and balancing which was an additional $9 per tire, plus a $2 tire disposal fee and tax. Live and learn I guess. I think I will go through tirerack when I have to replace the front tires...

Oh, it was the Hawaii Kai Costco that I went to.

well, i priced it out and if you order the tires from tirerack and then get them mounted at eurosport, you're looking at a little over $400. so, you saved at least $20 by gettin them from costco. now if only they didn't scratch rims, i'd buy the tires from tirerack and get um mounted at costco. yea i know i'm a real cheap ass...

hah, you think that's bad, the 02 i just picked up has nearly 27k mi and the previous owner still had the original tires on! granted they're pretty much bald and i need to replace them this week. well at least i know he pretty much babied the car... i'm still a bit sketchy though since he never changed the diff or tranny fluid. should i just go ahead and get the 30k maintenance done? how much am i looking to pay, and any recommendation on a dealer to go to? sorry to get a lil off topic.

Well Smccury and a few others come to Acura for this service. I have a mechanic that works on my cars and he is very careful. Sorry I have no idea what the cost is though. Some guy do it themselves.
