I would be down for a tech day. I could use the knowledge on how to do it since mine will need replacing soon as well.

Thanks, man...Ya. I freaking hated doing it. What shop for $1400? That seems low. I wouldn't do it for 1400 -- wouldn't do it for double that amount! I did it for my AP1 and I thought it came out great for a first-timer, but I definitely did not enjoy it.

I'll give them a call next week. I'll update results/experience should I use them and choose not to do it myself. Thank you!

Just an update, Jimmy's will do a install per Bouford, but I thought I save my self $1K and suffer through another install. I'm almost done...total time so far? About 16 hours. I'm not sure how some guys claim to this at half the time or less. But I also tend to clean and do some other stuff as I go along. I still need to add some of the trim pieces and will need to place the car under the sun to make it somewhat easier to close the top, but it's getting dark now. Not an OEM top, but the fit is pretty close to OEM..seller from eBay, "DiamondMall". $500 total with shipping to HI.

Use this thread for the install: S2KI Robins Top Install. I did not complete gut out the interior. Just the rear decking area and seats.
