[QUOTE=avallach;24487006]Just an update, Jimmy's will do a install per Bouford, but I thought I save my self $1K and suffer through another install. I'm almost done...total time so far? About 16 hours. I'm not sure how some guys claim to this at half the time or less. But I also tend to clean and do some other stuff as I go along. I still need to add some of the trim pieces and will need to place the car under the sun to make it somewhat easier to close the top, but it's getting dark now. Not an OEM top, but the fit is pretty close to OEM..seller from eBay, "DiamondMall". $500 total with shipping to HI.
Use this thread for the install: S2KI Robins Top Install. I did not complete gut out the interior. Just the rear decking area and seats.

Hey. The top looks solid. Gonna be getting a s2 soon and the top needs changing. Been reading through this forum and it sounds like the robins top is a top pick. The top you bought from DiamondMall doesnt specify what brand of top it is. I read the robins tops come with hardware..was there hardware included with the top you got from ebay too?

Apologies for the late reply. I'm not sure of the brand, but it did come with all the necessary hardware. I did get extra rivets and did go the local Walmart to get that elastic thing -- a heavier duty version of what was offered in the kit.
