Default Sound Proofing

Anyone else here been following the post in S2000 talk about sound proofing the S with a brush on noise dampener? I was wondering if anyone else here was thinking about doing this to their S.

The name of the post is "Excellent and Inexpensive Soundproofing for S2000, QuietCar Quietcoat Noise Dampener"

I'm sure all you Auto X won't be intrested since it might add a few pounds to your car.

Looks like nobody is intrested in this stuff here.

I just bought a gallon of this stuff tonight so I should be getting it soon. I just had a few questions.

Is the helms manual the owners manual for the S or is it a different manual?

Does anyone have one that I can borrow? If not then do you know where and how much this manual is?

Does anyone wanna help me remove the seats and carpet in my S when I decide to do this? Or is removing the carpet preaty easy?

I'm hopeing that this stuff works so good that I can just put the exhaust on my car and not sell it. WISH ME LUCK!!

Hmmm, seems like you need a GT version of the s2000. A hardtop is also a great way to cut down on the noise level in the car.
The Helm's manual is not the same as the owner's manual. It is a technical manual that has schematics of most of the major systems in the car. I wouldn't think that you would need that for just taking out the seats and carpet though. That's as simple as removing 4 bolts per seat and pulling out the plastic fasteners holding the carpet down.
If you still want to borrow my Helm's manual you're welcome to it.

I guess when you say it like that then I don't need the manual. If it doesn't go that smoothly then I'll be giving you a call then.

This better make the car a little bit quieter.
