Valve adjusting...
Anybody in Hawaii do their own valve adjusting on an S2000? There are detailed threads on the procedure on this site, but nothing beats first-hand experience, so I thought I'd ask.
I'm going to buy some feeler gauges and a torque wrench.
Anybody interested?

I don't know about that.... I've watched the guys doing this proceedure on a GS-R and it seems to me like there is a lot of room for "interpetition" with regard to the amount of resistance you should feel with the feeler. Oh and BTW, I had my plugs done on Fran's car and I did not get a "check engine light" Thanks for breaking them in for me....
hmm. never seen the inside of the engine, but i have done 10+ b series motors and a few d series valve adjustments. uncle is a honda mech. it is okay to do on a gsr or civic with engine swap, but on a s2000, it looks to be a pain because of the huge fenders and distance you have to reach to do the work. i'll leave mine to my uncle or have honda do it rather than get a backache or cut myself on the jagged edges inside of the head (if it is like all the other motors i have done. plus, my snap on/blue point tools were jacked from my old civic and i am just beginning to replace them now.
BUT, if you are able to do it correctly without denting your fender or something, you will feel very good about your accomplishment. b

from the van that goes to my uncles shop or next door(lex brodies) when he comes around there. it is cool being near an auto place since all the snap on and mac stuff comes by.
yeah, snap on is pretty dope. the valve adjustment tool is bluepoint which is sold by snap on. not into the mechanic scene, so i don't know why snap-on isn't named on the tool instead of bluepoint or their relationship. feel wise, i guess snap on feels more solid, and it comes with a lifetime warrany like craftsman.
just remember that a lifetime warranty doesn't work if they get stolen from your car or home. (learning the hard way) snap on timing gun w/advance got jacked too. sniff sniff...
