My close call on the NC trip
So, I'm cruising along about 600 miles into my trip. I head off 95 and on to 26 (on the ramp) headed to Charlotte when I feel a vibration in the car. I pull over check under the car (just did a complete fluid change before I left) and everything looked fine. So I kept going. I go for 80-90 miles, the vibration comes and goes (at this point I'm thinkning its the road itself) Next on ramp it gets worse so I pull over again. this time i look behind the car and see a lug nut. hmmmm it's jsut like the one on my car I look at my rear wheel and 2 of the studs are gone (the lug was from my car). So here I am in the middle of nowhere.
I called honda care, they got me a flatbed in less than 40 min.(way to go Hondacare) The driver takes me to Midlands Honda
I called Midlands Honda from the road and made sure they could fix the car and had the parts.
Joe in the parts department had the parts ready to go when I arrived, Erin in the service department got things going on the service side.
I was in and out of there in less than two hours. The mechanic was great. He took great care of the car and did a teriffic job. He wouldn't even accept a tip from me
I would personally recomend the service department to anyone in the Columbia area.
My sincere thanks go out to a dealership and puts the customers needs first.

Wow, glad to hear it all came out ok. When I made the same trip a couple months back, I found upon my arrival in NC that one of my lug nuts had worked itself completely loose. I know that onramp well after doing SoFla to Asheville and back 6 times in the last 2 years.
Hope you have good weather and the leaves are changing.
