Default Honda service...

To those of you who have had the 1st to 2nd grind and deacceleration buzz repaired under warranty, about how long did it take them? I dropped my car off yesterday morning, and want to make sure that they arent dilly dall'ying around with it. I'm sure it takes longer than 1 day, but I hate it when my car is away for to long. I dont trust anyone with it! Anyway, any responses would be appreciated!

Greg

If you are worried, write down your mileage BEFORE you drop it off. Find out if driving it afterwards, to check things out, is necessary to complete the service. If so, ask how far they would need to drive it. Then you know what's going on and you know what they did.

if you're worried about employees taking it for a joy ride, write down the mileage on ayellow sticky and stick it on the gauge cluster. it'll make the employee think twice about putting on those miles you supposedly didn't know about.
