Wash and Wax
It logically fits in with the forums that it's grouped with. Appearance covers a lot of ground and people will find what they're looking for all in one place. It makes a lot more sense than keeping one appearance related forum out there on its own away from other topical information. The W&W regulars should look at this as an opportunity to spread their knowledge across more of the site.
There are other internal reasons for moving it besides the obvious ones I've mentioned. Please allow us a little leeway to try to run the site the way that makes sense to us.
Thanks for your understanding.

jp- with a car out of production, an audience that is now limited, a loyal following in place, how much sense does it make to change the format of probably the most successful wash n wax car club on the web?
w&w has always dealt with all aspects of appearance- have to say that it does not make sense to me either to change what not only aint broke, but also has been very successful as is was.
just my 3 cents...

I am a regular on wash and wax, and even I wouldn't have found it if I wasn't told it was under the appearance section, I always jump to https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=15 but if I am not familiar with the number on the link I would have thought you deleted it and probably have to google it to find it.

Even the Wash and Wax forum moderator Slanguage had trouble finding it!

I assume additional moves will be to place:
S2000 Engine Management under the Electronics since EM is an electronic?
I would also guess that Under the Hood will absorbe:
FI and NA?
I just don't understand the poor reason you gave for making the move - because we said so doesn't work.

It's not the move that bothers me so much. That I can get used to. It's the way the site staff has responded to our requests to change things back to the way they were that bother me. As some of the others have said in this thread, the response is a big disappointment. My site membership expired in January, and my decision to renew - or not - is something I feel compelled to consider rather carefully now.
