I find it interesting that you are using the phrase "best for buisness" I work for a large company (most of you own at least one of our products) and one of our guiding principals is "the consumer decides".

This is something that this board would benifit from, listening to your consumers. This is just like the crappy search function - it is what we made and it is what you will learn to use.

True.. it is best for everyone involved on the business side.
Business? I was under the impression this was an enthusiast site. Built and maintained by s2000 enthusiasts. We all stumbled upon this site because of our love for a single type of car. NOT business. We purchase memberships to help keep the enthusiast site up and running. Now you're letting us know our money means very little and decisions will be based off business transactions (business) rather than popularity (enthusiasts).

Other forums suck and don't get my money. Other forums don't have the popularity of the s2ki wash&wax. Other forums haven't given birth to at least 4 or 5 quality nationally known high-end detailers.
This isn't about how other sites are ran. Don't uphold yourself to the standards of Honda-tech or any other site. No member came in here making reference to other sites: this is about s2ki.

What is so special about the business side of things? It appears to be something so special, so magical, so in-depth that it can not be shared. Do you think that us members believe those that sponsor the site don't pay to do so?
Is this because Phil might be paying less in sponsorship than Tirerack? You think it's fair to charge Detailersdomain.com the same fee as Tirerack despite the wide difference in what they know-doubt make off their sponsorship here?

Is this a new tactic to discourage other sponsors in the future, or merely one to discourage members like myself from renewing our member ship once it's up?

I agree with MuttGrunt, while you may say no sponsor is being discriminated against, you also don't take into consideration what detailersdomain might think about this sudden move right after he renewed sponsorship.
The question is, would he have renewed his sponsorship had he known it would be hidden away, merely to be viewed by 5 people a day?

I'd be interested in seeing the traffic statistics since it's move...

Or can you "not provide those"...

I was confused by the change at first. Found the forum and decided it's annoying but not huge. Then I noticed I stopped checking W&W because I had to go that much further. So I went from checking daily to... a lot less.

Based solely on the ownerships response to the members in this thread, I doubt very much I'll renew my membership.
