HID bulb swap?
Have a look at this link.

I spoke with these folks recently as I am thinking about changing to HIDs for my Volvo.
Michael is the person I spoke with and he mentioned they had amazing results upgrading the HIDs on an S2000.
If I remember correctly the stage 2 product uses 6000 rated bulb.

Whats the rating on ours? 4000k? With the 9000K will it be BRIGHTER and more bluish purpulish?
Ok well I did some reaserch on that site and can't seem to find 9000k, only 6000k. I want the look that the new 5 series BMW's have. Does Micheal have pictures of the S2000 with the stage 2 upgrade?

Hi VTEC Racer,
Michael did not have pictures of the Stage 2 install.
He mentioned that the car has a very good projector lamp design to start with.
He does not have lamps over 6000 for our car.
If I remember correctly he said, after the stage 2 conversion, with the high beams on, all 4 lanes of a 4 lane road were lit up extremely well.

If i remember correctly, the 6000k bulbs are actually not as bright. The amount of light is rated in lumens. Higher color temperature (Kelvin) does not correlate to a brighter light.
I agree that the audi ones are nicer looking. If I remember correctly, someone on audiworld.com posted 9000k bulbs for sell and it's somewhere around $250 a pair. And ebay have 6000k for $249 a pair.
