What's YOUR V-tec engagement point?
It seems like people have experienced some varying engagement points for one reason or another (Some people have forced it into a lower engagement point via v-afc). Out of curiosity and personal observation, I'd like to know where your engines are kicking in.

What's the stock VTEC engagement point for US vehicles?
What's the stock VTEC engagement point for UK/Europe vehicles?
Just thought I'll like to find out as well ... Mine is 6,500RPMs from factory if I'm not wrong. Don't really recap paying much attention but it's definitely not 6,000RPMs or anything less and neither anything past 6,500RPMs.

OK wait a sec you guys.... from what I've heard, some of you might be spreading around a little bit of misinformation. Here's what I know:
VTEC for a stock S2K in the United States starts at 6200. I *have* heard that it will vary from 5800 to 6200 depending on ambient environment factors (but not confirmed), and I *have* seen my car delay VTEC engagement to a very high 6600 for a few hours when I was on my Arizona trip at an altitude of 8300 feet. No other time have I noticed my VTEC engagement be anything other than 6200. I can tell from the burst of power / change in aural tone.

I figured VTEC engagement was SUPPOSED to be 6,000 rpms, yet I've ran into a lot of people who have not messed with their settings and yet I have gotten different answers about the engagement point. It seems like not everyone's VTEC is kicking in at 6k.
For example, today I really noticed that my VTEC was engaging at about 6500 rpms, but I could have sworn it used to engage at about 6 grand. I also double checked my v-afc and sure enough, the engagement point was unchanged from stock form. Perhaps my mind was playing a trick on me and the VTEC has been kicking in at 6500 this whole time ... because of this curiosity, I just wanted to ask others at what point they were getting the juice going in the engine.
So far, the results have been interesting.
