Talking adding a motion sensor to factory alarm

Hrmm. I was wondering if I can add a motion sensing module to my factory alarm. I know the DEIs you can pretty much swap one module out for another but the factory one??? Does anyone know? I have to leave my car out in my covered parking space in my condo complex. The place seems safe, but you never know. To safeguard against theft. I just got a 50 deductible for comprehensive. That's pretty much my main safe guard.

Anyone put in a fuel cutoff switch? I'm not sure the factory alarm even has a blinker to deter.

The key is to use the wiring harness from the factory hood switch alarm option.

If you don't have the optional hood switch installed with the factory alarm, the hood switch part of the harness is capped off, and tied under the left side of the dash.

Tap your motion sensor into the harness.

I believe these nice folks have a hood switch wiring diagram on their site :http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04.html .

Works perfectly, took me about 15 minutes to do.
