Default Whats the best car cover?

Just wondering what the best car cover is. MY00 sits in the garage all winter. Was thinking of going out and just picking up some material at a fabric shop and get the gf to make a rough cover

Whats a good material?
Cotton?

The garage gets cold but never freezes...

any help would be appreciated

depends on what you want the cover for...
imo, if you just want a dust cover (for in the garage), the honda cover is great. i have two of them.
they are very well padded- in fact i use the cover to prevent dings too, and i still have none (after 3 years).
the honda cover is not a water-proof cover though. so if you want indoor protection and fair weather outdoor protection, i would go with the honda cover.

do know that it is well lined-
from the sponsor h&a accessories:
http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000ext03.html
Honda's Retail $229.00
our Price $166.80
"Genuine Honda S2000 dust cover. Constructed of a poly/cotton fabric, the soft breathable cover helps protect paint from the environment and prevents moisture from condensing underneath. Soft inner fabric surface helps to guard against scratching the finish. Includes handy storage bag."

any owners in your area that have one so you could check it out in person before buying?
i have two, so that when one is dirty i have a clean one- but certainly not necessary.

Keep an eye out for one in the "For Sale...." section. I see people selling them now & then. I bought one used last year between 70-80 bucks, used. It was in okay shape, certainly not new but it works.

If all your looking for is a dust cover, Walmart has car covers for $20 (Budget size 2 grey). I've had mine almost 9 months now and it does the job. It doesn't scratch the paint a washes up nicely.
