Is it latching at all? If it is not check out your alignment, and make sure you mounted the latch facing the right way. Ive never put a hood on a S2000, but I have on my sol and I screwed up doing the above a couple of times. Just an idea.

The hood is lopsided and that's looking like the problem. Dag-nab-it! Well....back to the drawing board....but if anyone still has advice or if this is common please let me know! Thanks again.

You have a slight amount of adjustable play available to you with loosening, adjusting, and then retightening the portion of your hood latch that is mounted to the frame/arm in front of the radiator. Look at pic below & see the area juuuuuust above my Rick's "S" badge for a sense of where I'm trying to point you...

Been a while since I'd had to adjust my own...but anyway, I *know* you can adjust the lower hood latch mechanism because I had to when I installed my Fiber Images CF hood. Best of luck , but shouldn't be a real problem.

I had the same problem with my Amuse style hood. The gap on the passenger side is a little wider then on the driver side. Can you adjust the hood that much from side to side? I can't seem to do it.

You can adjust the latch a little which should help. Make sure that the hood is not hitting the bumpers by the shocks also. If the latch does not line up, you can adjust the brackets that hold the hood in any direction. If you notice there are little lines there to use as guides. Don't worry, all hoods need some minor adjusting. I had to do everything above with my J's.
