4.77 final drive impressions
Wow! what a blast. The gearing is quite short now with great response in each gear. With a 16% increase in gearing advantage, you certainly feel it. RPMS are about 600-700 higher in each gear compared to the stock 4.10 ratio. So at 75 mph, I'm at 4600ish rpms. It helps keep the speeding down b/c the revs are high on the freeway but it's not insanely high. Gas milage is the same as it was when I was running the 4.44s. Need to put a few more miles on the diff before I get on it granny style but what a blast it is now to drive the car.

Ok. Im not too concerned about top speed either...Ive got a terrible license already
. But, Im really not that thrilled with the acceleration of the car stock. I feel the gears are the best/easiest way to reduce the life-less midrange (Im stock for now besides Spoon duct and filter). I just wanted to know if you felt the 4.77 was the better choice, as you've had both. Also, what made you change??
