I'm sure there are a few of you out there that have mounted your amplifiers vertically in the trunk. If so, how did you mount the "mount"? Pictures of everything would greatly be appreciated! I am trying to figure out how to do this myself, and would rather not have to "reinvent this wheel".

Anyone else feel free to chime in if you have some suggestions.

BTW, I do not want to use the tool/tire well for the amp, as I am attempting to save as much of the usable trunk space as possible.

Pretty simple...make an MDF piece big enough to mount your amp on, then bolt it down to the floor and roof using l-shaped brackets...

OK. After getting many responses back, and talking with a few installers, I finally had my amp vertically mounted! Here it is:

Reason for needing amp vertically mounted; my lunch box and computer bag go in the tire/tool well - a perfect fit!
Side view of amp; leads were put between the two plastic panel covers instead of cutting any of them. Installer felt this was the best way, as I can get back to "stock" without damage to the panels. May not look 100% best, but it is 100% functional, which is all I really need in the trunk.[/PHOTO]

FWIW, there is a 1/4" overlap between the amp mount and the spare tire cover panel; the panel slips behind. That is why the last D-pin (for lack of a better name) is not in there.

btw, amp mount looks nice.... how is it attached top and bottom? any possible way of getting you to use that G3 to give us a peek?

and i love the way that PG amp looks... very very nice...
