I guess the M-Coupe is fast - so what, it is the ugliest car I have ever seen...

I don't know about that. Price wise, M coupe/roaster is not that far away from S2000.
S2000 is more like poor mans Ferrari.

That thread is just a wee bit confusing... But they do seem like confused people. To clarify:

The '00 and earlier M-Coupes and M-Roadsters had a 240 HP 3.1L engine and was priced around $40K.

the '01 M-Coupes and M-Roadsters (undelivered yet as far as I know) have the sweet new M3 315 HP 3.2L engine. ... and a price increase.

The older M-Coupe was pretty comparable to the S2000 on a technical track; likely faster on an open track. The new M-Coupe, I'm guessing, will our asses on the track. Still not very attractive in the coupe, and not very stiff in the roadster, however.
