Specman from the RX8 board has PMed me to see whether there is any interest from the s2ki Jocks in attending a meet which they're having in Stirling on 22 February. I've explained that our more northerly brethren have gone a bit meet-mad of late and so there is every chance that someone will be up for a blast with them.

By all accounts, the 8s gave a good account of themselves during the run after yesterday's Herts lunch meet, so it might be an interesting comparison for anyone within reach of Stirling

This looks like bad timing, the Blurter meet is on the 21st and at least a couple of our true notherners were planning on coming 'darn south' to it.

That said, they may want to race north again on the Sunday?

Ah well, I said I'd post the details of it - if it proves to be inconveniently timed, it's unfortunate but that can't be helped.

If the Jocks fancy inviting a few of the 8s along to their next jaunt, at least there is now a channel of communication open

Afraid I'm committed to Blurter meet and as I plan to do it all in 1 day, 500 - 600 miles, I think I'll be a bit too sha$$ed out for the Sunday. Pity, sounds like it would be fun.

Hi Specman here.
As an RX8 owner I am wearing my best flame suit cos I feel real guilty posting here and not owning an S2k.
Finally got things working here.
Thanks Mark T for posting this up.
As you will see I have set out to arrange the second RX8 meet provisionally for 22nd February and as most fellow RX8ers can make this date it looks like it will be the one.
Any of you guys are more than welcome to come to this meet or any future Scottish meet that may be set up.
First RX8 meet under the Forth Rail Bridge got 8 cars and this second one looks to be heading for well into double figures car wise which aint bad considering that the beasties only just hit the streets in November 2003!

Would have been on my list if it wasnt for two bambinos to carry about!
