Am I the only one who thinks the RX8 handbrake is really cool ?
Makes it seem more like a spaceship!
Euan, If you go I will go (don't want to be the only S there!)

Hi Specman
As Steven has already said, neither apology nor flamesuit required Feel free to post whenever you like - as a group, we're pretty enthusiastic about any "proper" driver's car and don't get up our own arses about our own model TOO much
It's a shame that your meet is the day after an existing S2000 meet which some of the Scottish contingent had already committed to attending (I had forgotten about that when I replied to your initial PM, I confess) - but you may yet find you get one or two attendees, and maybe more at future events

Was overtaken by a freindly RX8 owner who stopped to give me a wave and a thumbs up, which I returned
It was on the M9 and he took the Falkirk turn off
Very civilised indeed, the RX8 looked stunning, of course it was in Red which physisists have proved to be the fastest colour.
I'd have had a bit more fun with it if
a: it wasn't absolutley tipping it down
b: Mrs Cable wasn't asleep in the passengers seat
c: I wasn't knackered after house hunting down at the Borders and driving along one track flooded back roads really more suited to a 4X4
None of the s2k Jocks coming along?

I might do depending on how I feel after Blurtermeet on the saturday - of course Blurtermeet might be a no-no for me if the weather is really bad (but it would have to be exceptionally bad ), in which case I would go to the RX8 meet.
Weren't the Borders snowy and icy C7BLE?

the roads were clear but there was a load of snow on the embankments, looks like they had a rough time of it.
It was pouring and we did see a house with a snowman outside and it had an umbrella!
