Relson,
Nice photo....makes me miss getting out there on business trips.
I would fly into Portland, stay downtown...eat at Jakes, the next day drive to Cannon Beach for dinner at the Fireside Inn (Log cabin looking place).
In addition, each trip I would vary where I stayed and where I drove. I would stay at the Columbia River Gorge Hotel if it was a long trip and loved the drive, it is a great part of the country!

Very nice pic... My parents have a house a bout half a mile south of there on front street, that could pass as my car if the window was scuffed and nasty looking =)
