2000 was the last and only year of production. I had at least three dealers tell me so in '99 when I bought mine. Everyone else must be buying reproductions because Honda only produced 5000 of them worldwide.

No, 2002 is not the last year of production.

My dealer (Airport Marina Honda in Los Angeles) tried to pull that crap on my MY2001. Told me that it was the "last year of production" and value would go up since it's now a collectors item.

krazik says they'll be made in tochigi for 10 years..never mind what dealers say, they don't know caca..
even when the nsx comes out my2003, the s2k can still be made simultaneously as they're hand-made anyhow..but, hey, i could be wrong too..

That's not true. I think it's just a dealer trying to get you to buy the car.

Definitly not true. In fact, they told us during our Japan trip at the factory to please buy another because they plan on making them as long as people will buy them.

i think I may have figured out the problem. Probably just a typo on some inter-office memo, could happen anywhere.

They meant to say 2020 is the last year of production, not 2002.
