How many S2000's are made for Canada and for the U.S. every year?

 

US: about 10,000/yr.

 

If your statement of 10,000 per year is correct, I wish someone would inform the dealerships in CA...Every dealer I've spoken to (and it's alot) have told me 5,000. Is this is sales ploy or do I have "Stupid" tattooed on my forehead?

 

I thought it was around 5000 for the US also....How bout Canada? 2000units??

 

I think I read 5,000 to the US per year once. I also think I saw that 5,000 was increased dramatically after the first year. Maybe the dealers who are saying 5,000 per year are the same ones who are saying the MY 2002 is the end of the production run???

I know Canada gets a whole lot less then the US, I heard that there were 500 in Canada the first year, about 2000 the second, and probably 8-10k for MY 02.

But Hey, I could be wrong

 

I've only seen a small handfull here in the great white north All were silver.
500 sounds right for the first model year, but I'd be surprised if it went much above a 1000 units for 2001 or 2002. I can't remember where I saw the statistic, or else I'd post it, but it was pretty low.

 

I think the first year was 5000 for US (or North America, not sure) and '01 6000 and I believe '02 6000 again.

Quite an exclusive car regardless.
