I have not seen this, and could not imagine them making this many additions to the S 2000 to be stopping production.
But hey, you never know.
I hope not

Don't listen to dealership bs. No one knows for sure, and no official statements have been released.

I was told last year that they were only going to make it for the year 2000, and that is why they named it the same. I was also told this year, by a different dealer, that he was only going to have in the four on the lot. The next week he got three more. Don't listen to the dealer. They know less then most of the people on this sight.

Next time I visit a dealer, I'm bringing some of the pictures I took with the head designers and engineers when i was visiting the Tochigi factory. If they bring up that "last year for S2000 production" bull shit, I'm going to show them the pictures and tell them that the Honda people in Japan, who are the ultimate decision makers say that as long as there are buyers, they are making the car.

He was telling me that that markup for next year is going to be much higher since it's going to be the last year, that I should buy 2001's while I can and get a much better deal. Which still turned out to be a 5k markup in this case.

It's a great car. I felt like he was bs'ing, but I was still tempted to get the car right there and then after the test drive.

Not sure how long I can hold out for a good deal.

BLAH! Same old rumors. Honda runs 4-5 year product cycles, we'll at least see that.
