warranty ?
will the aem v2 void your warranty?
my car started today made a weird slapping noise then died.
i checked oil and it was way past low even though i bought the car 6 weeks ago from a dealership that had performed an oil change. so since my car wont start and has no oil im sure something is wrong. and i need to know if i should put stock intake back on when i get it towed to honda?

you dont have to put on the stock intake... but it will be easier for you to get everything covered by Honda... they will probably blame your v2 for being the reason why probs arouse...
are you sure you didnt mix anything up when you installed it?

Typically the CAI will give the dealer a reason to deny your warranty request but double check that everything is hooked up properly before you take it to them. You say the car is a 2001, do you still have warranty coverage from Honda? How many miles are on the car?
Shame on you for not checking your oil every 2 weeks or so, this car will consume a bit of oil when driven hard.

ive had the car for 6 weeks. i think it was the rear main seal that went out. i will take off the intake and return to stock b4 i send it to the dealer. but my cars pretty much screwed for now.
A rear main seal gone bad would show itself as a pool of oil under where you park the car. Is there?
An AEM intake will be cause for them to question what you've been doing with the car but they need to prove that it was the cause of what went wrong before denying the claim.

The dealer will not fix a car due to a slow leaking seal. we are required to keep oil in our cars to keep the warranty in effect. However if the seal blew out, all at once and blew the oil out quickly, you may have a case.
