It just doesn't make sense that a car that brakes better, slaloms and skidpads better, has more force at the wheels, is lighter and has a stiffer chasis and better suspension is equal to the other.

I can assure you that there is no way that an S2000 on stock tyres is going to better 1:13:xx on that track. You only have to look at the kind of machinery that's doing those times in very experienced hands. A heavily modified 350hp M3, running R compounds, in the hands of one of the best drivers in the club, was doing 1:11.xx.
Having the same driver in both cars is the closest anyone is going to get to a fair comparison. Have you even driven a WRX? It has massive grip and impressive chassis balance. How many times do I have to tell you that in production car racing here the WRXs are consistently ahead of the S2000s? In standard trim, on the tyres supplied by the manufacturer, I put the Honda slightly ahead (doesn't that make you happy?
). When my R compounds for the WRX arrive it will be the other way round.Sorry if you don't like it, or can't explain it with your slalom and skidpad numbers, but it's a fact. Try driving both cars on a track next time, then come and argue with me.
