Thumbs up top quality fuel from NON-Middle Eastern sources

In this thread--> https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=277733 Relson stated the following:

"I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are
the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil :

Shell.............................. 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway.... 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco...........62,231,000 barrels

If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION!

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

Citgo.......................0 barrels
Sunoco...................0 barrels
Conoco...................0 barrels
Sinclair....................0 barrels
BP/Phillips...............0 barrels
Hess........................0 barrels
ARC0......................0 barrels"

Any opinions regarding the quality of fuels from the list of companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil?

I currently buy exclusively from Chevron due primarily to the reputation of their Techron additive, but after reading that thread, I'm considering buying fuel from one of these other companies and maybe just buying some fuel additive from Chevron and adding a little bit to each tank of gas.

Any opinions?

This thread is useless and if I could delete it I would! Your posting this in "Under the Hood"??? Are you stupid? I guess you are as oil (light crude) is about $55.00 dollars a barrel. By the way with all the fret of the middle east do you have a clue where we get our oil??? No?...Perhaps thats why our southern borders are so loose.....#1 American oil source.....MEXICO....bet that surprised you!. Welcome to American politics! We're not in the Middle East for oil Pedro. Christian/Musilm comes to mind....You asked for my opinion!

I think he has a right to tell you when you have your facts wrong. Forums are great for information but not all of it is correct. We do rely on middle eastern oil, however we import more oil from Brazil and Mexico than we do the middle east. So, it doesn't suprise me that some oil companies don't buy from middle eastern companies because there are plenty of other sources.
I think you are out of place by swearing at utah s2k. I would have said it was stupid to put the post in under the hood too. It's not where it belongs. However it was probably not the best way for Utah to handle the post. Either way, its the internet... Who cares what each other says is my personal feelings. If you both want to write something hurtful back and forth for days do it on PM where no one else has to read it. Otherwise stick to the topic and make constructive commments.

I have no problem with being corrected. I have a problem with being verbally assaulted.

I posted it in Under the Hood because I'm concerned about the quality of the fuel, specifically additives such as Techron which keep my injectors clean. I really don't know why this is in S2000 Talk, since this forum is for discussions about the car itself, if I'm not mistaken?

If my information is incorrect, correct me. If my facts are off, point it out. We all know the rules of basic etiquette. But after such a posting from Utah, I owe him no such courtesy. Period.

It's in S2000 talk as per:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=247214

Where oil comes from, and opinions on who's gas is better doesn't belong in UTH. S2000 talk is a more general forum, all things s2000 related. You wanted opinions on gas, just like who's CAI or exhaust is better.
