Knockhill Visit - Sun 12th June
S2KScot, Euan, Oss and I popped up to Knockhill this morning to see Foz running his track S2000.
S2KScot took us there via some of his old tarmac rally routes - it was too quick for any photos - and we arrived at Knockhill just after 10.00am. Ostensibly a Scooby track morning, there was plenty to look at. Cars running included :-
2 Nobles, Ferrari 348, Ferrari 355, Caterhams, Elises, Scoobies, and a pair of Radicals. I'll leave the proper photos to Oss (who had all his kit with him), but here a few of mine.
I didn't get any of Foz on the track (the shutter delay on my ageing Cybershot makes action shots tricky ... ), but here's his (recently weighed) 953kg S. He was lapping at around 1'02 pace
The LHD Ferrari 348 (on road tyres) was giving it some licks ... nice noise
There was also a 355 (on racing tyres) ...
These two Nobles were also running. Surprisingly quiet, except for the whistle of the turbos
Behind the pits, they were running monkey bike races on the kart track. Pretty quick.

Big thanks to Douglas that was a great wee route he took us to get to Knockhill, three of us probably need a new exhaust (Euan's sold his car so it doesn't matter about his )
I certainly grounded a few bits of the car several times.
Just getting my pics together won't be long.....
