Default F1: Indianapolis GP

- have I beaten Bassoctopus to it this time?

So, will BAR finally have a lucky race, and get their first points of the entire season? Surely they must, and hopefully with a podium for Button, and Taku in the points as well.

Kimi to win, esp as Alonso should be quite disadvantaged by his qualifying slot.

I guess MS might get some reasonable points.

Another retirement for Alonso/Win for Raikkonen combo would be fantastic. It'd then start to be a real nailbiter of a season. I'm hoping for that.

I think you are probably right, but do those Renaults take-off well or what?!! My Dad's Scenic is nothg like so sprightly off the line

I think BAR will have a good weekend and score points, however it will be the usual Kimmi and Fernando show, with, I predict a healthy side order of Toyota.

Ferrari will struggle in the low point scoring positions unless people fall off / expire.

Have you read James Allens (not everyones favourite cookie, I know) analysis of the Montoya/Raikkonen pitstop cock up?

Looks like there's no excuse - Mclaren favoured Raikkonen.

Montoya should be seriously pissed off.

If that were to come off, I would imagine it would make Williams look pretty unappealing to Jenson - why move from a Honda 'works' team to one being supplied with 'customer' engines????

The way heidfeld is going it'd be a difficult call to put button in his seat.

Weber looks the more fragile of the two if anything, but I think he's tied into a contract, whereas hiedfeld isn't.

Button really needs to put some good drives together soon if any decent team owner is going to consider him against the competition.

The wall incident really was very bad timing for his options next year - lets hope he can put it together at Indy - but of course he'll be out early in qualy

Hooray for ITV!

After me and several thousand others complaining, they've now signed a deal to get live qualifying on ITV2. They do deserve credit for responding to their viewers.
