Thumbs down Emanage tuned, kind of

The ordeal I went through.

(Im getting my emange tuned right now and the tuner ran into a problem. The car is hitting a 8k rev limiter or something. Its not going to 9. We checked everything form emanage settings to plugs. The only thing that might be causing it is that the injectors are almost at 100%, but the a/f is still staying the same up to 8k.

More info, a/f at 11.8 all the way to 8000rpms when the car just starts to buck like crazy. a/f doesnt change when it happens though, but torque spikes all over when it does. All settings on emanage seem correct. Only thing not sure of would be the jumpers, but we followed the diagram found here.

:scratchhead:
Help please. Im paying by the hour been here since 1pm.

BTW AAV value is at -1% at 4000 rpms for some reason.)

The results, scroll down.

How much boost are you runnig? Sounds like an ignition problem. What is the gap of your plugs?

7 psi, checked the plugs, seem fine.

Was gapped to .032, now we tried .028. Still no help though.

Are you using the timing control harness? Have you got any data in the ignition map? I'd zero the map and see if that cures things.

What is the boost cut setting at?

Boost cut should be 2.9V at all rpm points.

does the rpm valves in you map (X axis) go all the way to 9000rpm. If not then you need to set the values int he main setting. Did you do a real time to see where on the map it is cutting off?

Good point, your RPM points need to extend all the wayto redline, if not slightly higher.

Thank you so much Slow, for calling and helping. My tuner changed the map clamp volts to 2.7 and it worked. We where able to take it to redline.

We ended up with 11.8 a/f all the way across the board. Vtec at 4400, but on the way home I noticed that from 4 to 7 or so, if I let off on the gas or with partial throttle, the car would hiccup and I could here the exhaust making a sputtering noise.

Im to tired to find out why, I was at the dyno from 12 to 730 and it cost me.

Thanks again Slow
