My e-manage street-tuning seems to be finish soon. I have played a bit with the FMU but not raised the pressure to much, than i used the injector map to add some fuel.

Last run on the Autobahn my A/F was at 12.5 WOT at 0.5 bar (8 PSI) and the injector duty cycle was max at 86% with stock injectors.

So far i have also changed the VTEC-Point to 5600 rpms. Only the mid-range (4-7,5K rpm) is a little lean at 13.0-13.5 AFR, but i edited the map and testdrive my car as soon as possible with the new settings.

When i finished the map i can send you copy of the mapfile together with my fmu-settings, revhi. Maybe this will help you.

Jackson, no I'm not, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

Mine also seems to "push" through the sputtering and then goes normal again. That was no management and stock injectors, however, I did not have any problems prior to my "off." My plugs look the same at .033"

My car is having some upgrades performed this week(hopefully). AEM EMS, injectors, smaller pulley, etc. I really hope my problem evaporates. The only thing that drives me crazy is not finding the exact cause.

My plugs look axactly like that.

I also had the same noise when letting off the gas and letting the car rev down. I though it was the vtec off point because I set the switch over into vtec at 5,500 and off from vtec at 5,200. The car sounded exactly like it hicupped when I let off the gas. I set the vtec points as close together as I could get them and it is fine now.

exactly how much boost are you running? 285 seems kinda low still.

What engine management are you running and whats your a/f look like? Im thinking 11.8 all the way across the board is to rich since stock Comptechs are at 12.5-12.9.

Im running 7 psi. I think its there dyno because they did a 05 S with a Comptech blower that dynoed a few hp lower. 05's should have 300whp.

mine is an 04, my dyno runs were a bit lower than comptech has posted for a stock exhaust and the stock pulley. they have 279 HP and 184 for torque. I did back off a bit bfore 8000 rpm.

Ill post my dyno charts soon, I got 16 to flip through. My max was 287, but it looks like I wasnt hitting 9k. Looks like I was only hitting 8400 or so. :scratchhead: I think I heard him hitting the rev limiter though. I hope its not more map clamp problems.

There's nothing like an informed opinion. And that is nothing like an informed opinion.

Since the VAFC works the same way, but can't add fuel directly unlike a e-manage, I guess it blows too.
