Default Who's going to Laguna Seca?

Looks like we have Laguna Seca for an S2000 exclusive event January 14. I'd love to go, but only if I'm not driving down alone. Post here if you're considering it, and also express your interest over here:

I could use a vacation around that time.

From the Southern Oregon thread:

As far as the weather/roads in January, it can get bad on the Siskiyou pass. It is not uncommon for snow storms to hit, but since it is the main North/South route they will plow it quickly. Unfortunately chain requirements are not unusual.
Yikes!

Do you think we can get a group buy on those funky rubber 'chains' from Honda's Japanese S2000 site?

Yeah, just south of grant's pass. I've driven through there and its been clear one minute, and a curtain of snow the next. This was the first week of November too. I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be in January.

What happened to the Ted that says, "...if the storm doesn't have a name..."?

Yeah, the coast sounds like a good idea. I hope that I'll have a trailer on the S2000 by the time we make this drive. Are we going to put spiffy removable decals on our cars so we look like racers?

Make no mistake, I'll have the top down alright.

I just don't want to drive through State Patrol 'Chains Required' checkpoint with naked S02s.
