So, I just finished dropping my buddy off after a day at the dyno + porsche parts shop, and I'm on my way home...

Top down, beats pumpin, cool weather...

Heading up bloor, toward keele st., and a cab decides it's time to make a left turn, right into my car!

Needs front 1/4, front bumper, headlight, door, rear 1/4, rear bumper, and 3 rims, front suspension, possibly rear end too.

Someone buy me a drink!

Buuuuuuummer! Having been bashed by a pickup in my S2000 earlier this year, I know how much it sucks to get hit.

Makes me do this ---->

Damn man

Important thing is you're ok.

Atleast people will tell you that

I'll buy you a drink, found a new one in Texas. Red Bull and Orange Absolute. Gets you silly and keeps you wide awake.

That sucks big time.. but I'm not surprised due to the area you were in... I have a bias again drivers and driving anywhere south of Lawrence.. It just plain sucks!!! I hate the city of T.O... nowhere to drive except at 2am to 5am in the morning..

At least when you're in Scar. you have lanes to pass or to swerve.. but not in this mega SHITTY..

I hope you really screw that cabby and his company for making that mistake..

Can anyone make me like the city of T.O.. I say NOOOOOOBOOODY.. (in the words of that tanned idiot )

Is this just a straight insurance matter? Or is the taxi co liable? That'd be sweet.

Sorry to hear about your luck. These things happen and I guess there isn't much anyone can do about it. Think about it this way...
at least your'e okay. And also, this will be a good opportunity to *fix* any niggling rock chips or scratches that you may have had on the car. See, its all good!
Good luck

Oh man, Insurance is taking care of it, but I think something else is wrong.

I got banged up against the console and then I banged my head into the driver's side window.

I was sore when it happened, and I assumed that would last 24-48 hours, but now I can't hear properly from my left ear (sounds like underwater or something), I can't sleep at ALL now (1 hour since saturday), back is still hurtin, and I got a wicked stabbing pain behind my left eye. Two of my teeth are loose, and they're hurting too.

Can a person of my size get damaged by a fairly low speed impact like this? The jolt was pretty bad, and the damage is just suspension and cosmetic + rims, I think I'm going nuts here. I couldn't even read the damn rental form!

So much for being invincible.
