FI is it too late?
currently my 2001 S2k has 62000miles and im planning on getting a lovefab turbo. my question is it to late to go forced induction since i have soo many miles cuz from what i could know there werent any signs of mods that they took off b4 they sold it, it was bone stock when i bought it (used). if it would help to tell you that i had the upper half of the engine replaced because of bent valves. but as of now it runs fine and i just dont want to go FI and it break in a couple of years ill keep it at a conservative tune and i dont street race but i do spirited driving and go through the canyons. would anyone have any knowlege they could share with me?
If you are worried about reliability, I would just go with a supercharger. Either vortech or comptech doesnt matter. Just dont forget to change oil regularly and when doing that, also check your sparkplugs.

Your car is an 01 and you live in San Diego. You can kiss your emmission test goodbye. The Love fab turbo or ANY turbo for that matter will not pass smog. If you got the hook up on smog...then it's good to go.
There are a lot of different factors you should consider BEFORE going FI. Your driving style is the most important. Only you know how you drive. Pending that..... you may need to upgrade your differential and probably your clutch.
If your worried about the state of your valves and your compression....get a test first and make sure your good before installing the turbo kit. It will only magnify the problem and shorten the life of your car.
Also if you don't know $hit about turbo kits....then I would not recommend you getting one. If your kit needs tweaking and you cringe at the thought of opening your hood with a wrench in your hand then you are asking for trouble by paying someone else good money to install the turbo kit for you.
You will need EMS and a tune after install to ensure a safe setup.
Your miles are fine as long as everything else is good to go.

yes i was gonna get my reinforced diff with 4.57 gear just before i go FI and gonna get the clutch package hardtop guy offers. and for emmissions i got the hook up for that. but if for some reason that doesnt pull through since imin the military i can just reregister my car to VA thats where i am originally from. ive been researching a lot about goin FI and i understand the risk i take doin it in the first place either SC for its reliability or turbo for its more balls (with a good tune).
