Under 600 miles too early for Vortech SC?
Just received my Supercharger for my 2003 S2K but I was wondering if I need to break her in more before installation (I believe the oil change is not until 7500 miles). Thanks for any suggestion about maybe jumping the gun on this subject. CFL
Under 600mi is WAY too soon for a SC. You should not even VTEC below 600mi.
Also keep in mind that you will lose SIGNIFICANTLY when it comes to negotiating waranty issues. It's tempting (I'm right there with you with my '03 with 3900mi on it.) I would suggest you hold off.

Why don't you spend some time getting well acquainted with the car's stock capabilities? Not only will you learn more about the car's characteristics as determined by Honda's own engineers, you will likely have greater appreciation for the gains provided by the SC kit.
I'll be the first to disagree. I believe that if the supercharger is instaled correctly, then 0 mileage is fine to install a supercharger. Just make sure you still follow the engine break in procedures.
If 600 miles is too soon for a supercharger, what about vehicles that come fromthe factory supercharged or turbocharged? Yes, they were built for it, but the F20C has proven to be completely reliable and safe with the boost levels that the Vortec and the Comptech start at.
I say go for it.
