RIP '03 s2k
Well It been sometime since I have posted here on the s2k page. My old roommate about 6 months after I got my '05 s2k purchased his '03 s2k with about 21k miles on it. He has always been a safe a good driver but a quick trip to take his brother out for a spin caused some serious damage to the s2k. He was going around a corner @ 70 and the rear end got loose on him. He tired to correct but there was no grass to run off in to. He instead ran in to a cement culvert. His lesson learned was do not mess around on a road after dark that you do not know. He has lived and learned from it. He is in the process of picking up another.
He walked away from the accident with 30 stitches and 5 staples in his head. His Brother had 10 stitches in his hand. The car came to rest upside down.

Sorry to hear it, glad he's ok. A turn at 70?! I doubt even VSC could've done anything to prevent that.

Yeah, I know. My statement was more just to remind people who have VSC that it doesn't prevent poor judgement. VSC or not, the S2000 must be handled w/care.
Its not Mine, but I called him out on that. He did not respond to my email. I did not notice that until I posted the pictures up on this page. I told him bottom line keep matched tires on the car. I got a nail in one of my rear RE050's I just replaced it vrs running with a patched tire. I was excited becaused with 12k I had 7/32 of tread on the rear tires, and 8/32 on the front tires.
