Default 2005 to 2006 - what kind of money loss?

Here it goes. I've bought my 05 s2k 6 weeks ago, and now it has 1800 mileage. It is in red and this is not my favorite color. But I still love it. I paid 32k for it including taxes and 8 years of warrenty. Now I want to trade in to get a yellow 06. Would it be any worth to do that and how much would I pay more for a new car anyway?

you can prob sell the car in the 25-26k range and get an 06 for 30k+tax. Not a wise financial decision.

why did you spend 32k on a car that you didnt like

you'll take a big hit if you trade it in now.

serious though, I still lover the car but really interested in the changes that new 06 s2ks have. So if I trade it in, I would lose like 4k or so right?

probably a little more than that after tax. Call the dealer, they'll tell you exactly how much you'll lose.

Why don't you just repaint the car?

Repainting the car would not be a good decision.

Neither would trading in a car that you just bought, either. Personally, I like NFR's MUCH better than Rio/Spa's. You really don't like that color? Throw on some Bronze MF10's and tell me you don't like red anymore.

Seriously, I'd keep it. Red is my second favorite color on the S, white being the first.
