Dragon Fans!
The annual unofficial non-event known as McDragon is set for the weekend of August 17, 18, & 19 (Thurs-Sat nights).

What's planned? Absolutely nothing; that's the whole point! It's just a chance to visit the beautiful mountain area, hang out with some of our favorite people, and get in lots of Dragon runs.

Where are we staying? Fontana Village http://fontanavillage.com/, where there are lots of accomodation options; everything from inn rooms to cabins to campsites.

(I've reserved two 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabins, which are pretty much full, but it would be fun if others also want to get a cabin or 2 and "bunk up".)

Why this weekend? Because we can't wait until DBR, and it's the ONLY weekend this summer with NO other events listed on either www.tailofthedragon.com or the Fontana Village events calendar. (Woohoo!)

Ron and others plan to leave Charlotte Thursday am, around 9:00ish; they'll post caravan details later.

Man, being right after the MBSM, I prob. can't swing this trip... But I shall make it to the Dragon soon... Have fun peeps... And who knows things may work out afterall for this...
