I thought I'd add some more pictures/instructions on how to upgrade to the new radio door. The problem most people are having is when they install the door they do not put the spring in right. Instructions have already been posted on how to remove the door, I just wanted to show how I put the spring in so the door will open correctly.



Below is the parts that you need to push out


You can use a paper clip or part of a coat hanger to push them out


Place the spring into the door, make sure the longer of the two legs is to the right and is on top, not laying against the plastic.


The best way to lay the spring in the groove of the plastic is to use either the paper clip or part of the coat hanger. You want to lay the paper clip/coat hanger in the groove with part of it extended past the end of the groove, this will prevent the spring from going underneath the groove.


Insert the parts back into the sides of the door.

Another tip - the longer part of the spring goes up. The short part goes down and towards you.
