Default Clutch change ..

I've just changed my clutch .. I did it a while ago, and got a spoon paddle one, and then I changed jobs. My new commute was all stop start town driving and it killed the paddle very quickly.

Top is the paddle, middle is my old buzzy stock, the bottom is the new Spoon one.

It took about 10 hours all in with help from mates. And swapped it using wheel ramps, axle stands and 3 trolley jacks.

Was a mission, but it's nice to know I've saved a few

unplug the engine from everything .. take off the exhaust & manifold .. take off the prop shaft .. drop the engine .. take off the bell housing .. and dig out the plate.

I also had to drop the engine out the GFs MR2 to swap a water pump this week too ..

But I'm now going to go out and spend the *saved* money

I paid about 250/300 last time, and I'd rather have the cash in my own pocket, as that amount is good weekend on the piss.

My mates and I actually enjoy working on cars, so we turn it into a BBQ & Beers social event.
