Well hopefully this up-coming summer, I'll be purchasing an S2K
-I know besides the visuals in the AP1/AP2's
I've seen one has a higher redline than the other, and 02 AP's and Up come with Glass rear correct?
-What are the differences in between the tuning/ecu and motors of the Models?

PLEASE read the forum and research these questions. You will find this topic has been beaten to death, resurrected countless times, and killed again...
Basically, buy which ever you please. Someone will always say that their design is superior to yours... so just make sure you are happy. Its your money, afterall.

 

i love these threads so...
ap1 - higher redline, less torque, more raw
ap2 - lower redline, more torque, better daily driver, way way faster(jk)

 

I might of typed too many keywords in the search, probably why it wouldn't pop up with anything, but thank you.

 

I'm guessing an 03 should do then....
I'll try to drive both, before making a decision...

Was my response not "mild"? I thought it was... lol. Good luck to you, but don't wear your heart on your sleeve man. People in here are harsh at times.
Back to the point- just read through here. There are a billion AP1 VS AP2 threads. The best evaluation you can make is one for yourself though. Go find stock S2000s that have been broken in and experiment and see which suites your tastes. You might find differences even in AP1's; MY00/01 is different from MY02/03; MY04/05 is different from MY06/07. Just go wring one out!

It was....but it will be hard to find someone out here that has an AP2 Willing to let me ride/drive in one.
I've only driven my friends AP1...I fall in love with it everytime...
