Some of you recall when lightning struck my S a few months ago. Car and Driver had a submission for Most Burned as part of their ten best issue. I sent in a couple of pics and they published it.

In a way the S2000 is back in the Ten Best Issue. See page 70.

My scanner is down...sorry. I'll try to get it working and get a picture up. If anyone else has the issue, it'd be great if you'd post it.

I'd love to see the pics ... how did lightning strike your car? Was it parked on the top level of a deck, or is mother nature just pissed at you?

According to C&D, lightning didn't strike the car. It struck the front yard and the fire traveled to the garage where it toasted the S.

 

Hey, I just picked up that issue day before yesterday and I did see the pics. That thing was crispy.
