I remember seeing this at work! I was flipping through it and I saw the car and immediately knew it was an S2000--then I read the caption. I remember telling my pharmacist "haha it's an ap2 and not the one with the 9k redline! look at the mufflers!"
LOL! Wow, this makes me want to cry. I know one year ago, if I read something like this before I had an s2000, I woulda been like..."man, I coulda used that s2000". At least you got a new car w/hardtop. Hope everything is taken care of, and everything else is well. Now mod the heck outta your s2000.

Not to take away from your S.

But can someone post the pic for the Ferrari F430 in the same issue. Now that is total destruction.

They were running it at a track when it broke an oil line i think, and caught fire. I think it said in 5 minutes there was nothing left.

And when i say nothing i mean nothing. The picture showed the rims and a little pile of molten gue where the motor was pretty much nothing else was left.

I guess aluminum burns pretty easy.

Thats a bad day at the track!

Feels like looking at pictures of dead puppies with dead kittens on top and dead chipmunks on the side, my gut wrenched.

Thank god you saved the children though... um... right?

For a brief moment, when I saw flames in the garage I contemplated going for the car. Glad I didn't. By the time I got out the front door with the kiddies, the flames were 200 feet high.

Lesson learned: Don't keep gasoline, paint, power equipment, spare wood, charcoal and other assorted explosives in your garage.

I'm buying a shed once we move back in.
