I was just telling my fiance that that pic was from somebody on S2KI. I hope insurance took care of you!
I had the exact opposite thing happen to me, whole house burned to the ground (Power line landed on the property during hurricane Wilma and FPL kept turning the power on-took 'em 3 tries to burn the house down though), but the garage and my S were intact (detached by about 8 feet).
According to the neighbors (I wasn't home) they were all running around yelling at the firemen to "keep the garage wet", and "Whatever you do, Save the Car!!"
Great neighbors!

When I saw it on the current issue I wondered if it was from someone on S2Ki.

On another note, if anyone wants a 1 yr C&D subscription for $4, on the current issue they sent me, they have this special buy 1 subscription ($12) and get 2 more for free (gifts). So contact me via IM. I am pretty sure a friend is getting one, so there is one left.

I am not doing this for any commercial purposes, just sharing the deal.

You have the coolest neighbors ever Hope you bought 'em a sixpack after the whole ordeal was over.

Yeah, I saw the OP's car in C&D and immediately thought of the thread he posted. Not just an S2k, but he also lost a Saab 9-5 wagon (I have a thing for Saabs!). Hopefully he's running around in a new S2000 as we speak.

Insurance was quick and fair. Replaced it immediately with an '07. Went with the hardtop this time.
